Pregnant Ashley Tisdale Details "Horrible" Nighttime Symptoms

When it comes to dealing with pregnancy symptoms, Ashley Tisdale knows she and her fellow expecting mamas are all in this together.

The High School Musical alum, who is expecting baby No. 2 with husband Christopher French, recently reflected on what it can be like physically for mothers-to-be.

"Women at night during pregnancy: Has horrible acid reflux," Ashley wrote on her Instagram Stories June 18. "Can't get comfortable enough to sleep well. Has a baby inside them jumping around and dancing. Can hardly move their body from left to right. Congestion so they can't breathe well." 

As for what it can be like for guys preparing for fatherhood? 

"Men: I have to sleep in the guest room," she continued. "Your snoring is keeping me up at night." 

Soon afterwards, several followers bopped to the top of Ashley's Instagram to express how they could relate. And the actress appreciated their messages.

"Thank you for making me feel less alone in this," she replied in a screenshot shared by People. "Love you mommas."

Ashley, who already shares 3-year-old daughter Jupiter with Christopher, announced in March that they're growing their family—with her posting a picture of her baby bump to Instagram and telling her little one, "We can't wait to meet you."

And she isn't the only High School Musical cast member about to start something new. Vanessa Hudgens shared that same month that she's expecting her first baby with husband Cole Tucker. 

While Ashley has noted the former costars haven't seen in each other in a while, she made it clear she's still happy for Vanessa about the fabulous news.

""It's very cool!" she wrote on her Instagram Stories about them both expecting. "I'm so excited for her and this new chapter in her life."

Professional Life: After appearing in all three High School Musical films, Hudgens went on to star in films such as Bandslam, Beastly, Sucker Punch, Spring Breakers, Machete Kills, Second Act and Bad Boys for Life.

"High School Musical was a fantastic journey, but it completely derailed me from where I originally saw my career going," Hudgens told The Guardian in an August 2018 interview. "I always wanted to be the indie girl; I always wanted to be in the movies where I'm playing a drug addict or a stripper or a prostitute. That was my goal since I was like, 11."

In 2015, Hudgens made her Broadway debut in a revival of the musical Gigi. The following year, she returned to her musical roots and played Rizzo in Fox's Grease Live! Then, in 2019, she joined Fox's live staging of Rent. Personal Life: In 2011, a year after Hudgens and Zac Efron split, she began dating actor Austin Butler. The couple split in early 2020. In October 2023, she married MLB star Cole Tucker. The pair are now expecting their first child. 

Professional Life: After the High School Musical era, Tisdale continued a pop music career for a few years and enjoyed moderate success. Her album, Symptoms, was released in May 2019. She also appeared in her own straight-to-video High School Musical spinoff film Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure. In 2010, she starred in the short-lived but popular cheerleader series Hellcats.

Over the years, she went on to have small roles on shows such as Sons of Anarchy and The Crazy Ones and also appeared in Scary Movie 5. Plus, she voiced Candace Flynn on the animated show Phineas and Ferb for more than a decade. Professional Life: Post HSM, Grabeel played Toby Kennish on ABC Family-turned-Freeform's Switched at Birth. Personal Life: The actor has been in a relationship with actress Emily Morris for several years.

Professional Life: Bleu went on to star in Ashton Kutcher's short-lived drama series, The Beautiful Life: TBL, and played Jeffrey King on One Life to Life. Professional Life: The actress went on to star on the sitcom Here We Go Again and the comedy movie We Are Family.
